Hip Hop culture celebrity and rap artist Snoop Dogg has been denied a visa to enter the UK on a European tour alongside fellow hip hop artist Sean ‘Puffy’ - ''Diddy'' Combs.

According to BBC reports, the hip hop legend, Snoop Dogg, was to play in London on Tuesday, followed by Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff and Nottingham.

Last year after being arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and disturbance at Heathrow Airport the hip hop rapper accepted a caution from police.

Snoop’s spokeswoman said he (Snoop) was “mystified” at the decision. Tuesday’s London show will go ahead regardless, even if the hip hop artist Snoop Dogg is not there she added. P Diddy (Puffy) will appear at the Wembley Arena show, the spokeswoman added.

“Snoop and his team are hoping the British government will reconsider this decision, especially as he has toured here before and sees the UK as being the highlight of the tour,” the spokeswoman said.

“He has asked how he can help rectify the situation and would happily talk to and give assurances to officials.”

The 35 year old hip hop artist aka Calvin Broadus is currently facing weapons and drugs charges in the US stemming from three separate arrests in 2006. And earlier this month was held overnight by police in Sweden on suspicion of using drugs.
