West coast hip-hop and rap recording icon Marion "Suge" Knight was wounded inside of a Miami Night Club early Sunday morning during a party hosted for Grammy-winning hip hop artist, rapper Kanye West, the AP is reporting.

Death Row founder and CEO Marion ‘Suge’ Knight was admitted to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg and is reported in good condition according to hospital information.

MTV.com is reporting that eyewitnesses sat at least six rounds were fired just before 1 A.M. (E.S.T.). The party in honor of Kanye West was being held at the Shore Club.

There are no official police statements at this time in regards to suspects and motives. More as it becomes available.
