Multi award winning music producer Swizz Beatz will produce a multi-artist peace tribute in conjunction with The International Day of Peace Concert; the first of many phases in what is a full-scale global peace campaign. The song will debut for the world to hear during the International Day of Peace Concert on September 21, 2006. In support of the 25th Anniversary of the United Nations International Day of Peace, the two-hour taped television event, produced by Garson Entertainment, will air live on one main stage and tape artists from their respective countries on stages around the world.

Bronx native Swizz Beatz, whose chart topping career spans over ten years, has collaborated with some of the greatest artists of our time including soulstress Mary J. Blige, hip hop artist Busta Rhymes, R&B’s Whitney Houston, Beyonce and Limp Bizkit. He sold over 88 million records by the age of 26, as well as several multi-platinum albums before even graduating high school, for artists such as hip hop legend Jay-Z.

Praised for his innovative work, Swizz Beatz has received the highest honors in the music industry including Grammy Awards, Billboard Awards and MTV Music Video Awards, among others. Currently, he is President/CEO of his own record label, Full Surface Records, a joint venture with Clive Davis'' J Records.

Chad Elliott, Vice President of Sony Urban, who has worked with Swizz Beatz, is an active member of the international committee for peace, a significant role in this colossal effort to encourage awareness. He has joined forces with Rick Garson, President of Garson Entertainment, to create this large scale, star-studded concert for International Peace Day as a platform for promoting peace among nations.

"Swizz Beatz is a perfect example of the caliber of artists who will be participating in the International Peace Concert," Garson stated. "This is a global opportunity for celebrities, musicians and world leaders to reach out and communicate to the rest of world how we can all join together in the road towards peace," he added.

The efforts made during the concert will benefit the cause for peace around the world. All proceeds will be donated towards a peace initiative.

The International Day of Peace was established unanimously by all member governments of the United Nations in 1981, with a UN General Assembly resolution. The day is devoted to "commemorating and strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and people." It provides an opportunity for individuals, organizations and nations to create practical acts of peace on a shared date. This annual Peace Day marks individual and collective progress toward building a new culture of peace, and it is chance to reaffirm our common commitment to peace -- above all interests and differences of religion, race and culture worldwide.
