Hip Hop web site ThugLifeArmy.com has announced the formation of a hip hop record label. Thug Life Army Records has been formed to help Hip Hop and Rap indie artists, who have finished projects, get those projects out to the public.

Thru the leadership of music veteran Frank Miranda, Thug Life Army Records is dedicated to the promotion of good hip hop and assisting unsigned artist find their way in an industry that can be confusing and ‘cruel’.

As the hip hop culture evolves, matures and seems to loose focus of what ‘true hip hop’ really is; Thug Life Army Records believes the time is right for the indie artist to get a hand up and to be noticed.

The entire genre of hip hop and rap music has changed over the last decade. The days of old had seen the rise and fall of gangsta rap, the rise and fall of music coming from the west coast and the rise and fall of meaningful good classic music period.

There are many indie artists who deserve their shine and they are just sitting on their projects because of lack of direction in promotion and or distribution. Thug Life Army Records will provide both to deserving indie and underground hip hop and rap artist to help expose them and bring them to the forefront.

Watch for news on the debut release thru Thug Life Army Records, which has a release date of March 27th ’07.
