Philadelphia hip-hop rap artist Cassady is in police custody after turning himself in on a warrant police had issued for his arrest.

In custody and with no bail Cassidy, aka Barry Reese, will remain in jail until there is an arraignment hearing; that will most likely take place on Saturday afternoon.

The charges against the hip-hop rap artist are murder, attempted murder, reckless endangerment, aggravated assault, conspiracy and weapons possession.

The prosecutor’s office will ask that no bail be given to the rap artist and he be held without bail till his case goes to trial.

This all stems from an April 15^th shoot out in an argument behind a house in the rapper's northwest Philadelphia neighborhood. Rapper Cassidy and two other men, armed with .45 and .40 caliber handguns, 9 mm pistols, AK-47 assault rifles and 7.62 mm rifles, fired on three unarmed men during an one of the men died of gun shot wounds.
