The first event will take place at 10 a.m. at The Learning Tree, 4430 Labadie Avenue, with American Idols finalists Nikko Smith, Aloha Mischeaux and D''Andre Perryman on hand to help distribute food boxes.

The second event kicks off at 1 p.m. at the Neighborhood Housing Project, 1121 N. 9th Street.  Entertainer Nelly will be joined by 100 Black Collegiate Men of America and Larry Jones, president and founder of Feed The Children, to distribute the food and supplies to families.

At the final event, taking place at 4 p.m. at Centennial Christian Church, 4950 Fountain Avenue, Alderman Terry Kennedy along with Pastor Larry Hill and Rev. Samuel Hylton, Jr, and other entertainers, will join Feed The Children's Jones in distributing food boxes to families present.

Volunteers from the Derrty Ballers basketball team, Vashon High School Varsity Basketball team and the Honor Society of Compton Drew Investigative Learning Center have also offered to lend a hand for this event.

"We are so grateful to Nelly and everyone here for their commitment to those in need," said Jones. "Everyone here knows that there are children and families in need in St. Louis, but they also know that it doesn''t have to be this way.  We are grateful that they have decided to join Feed The Children to take a stand against hunger."
