The Queens New York policeman dubbed the ‘hip-hop cop’ has been indicted by a Manhattan grand jury.

Police officials say that the ‘hip-hop cop,’ Donald Medard and 3 associates were arrested last week on gun charges after police found a stash of weapons in a car they were occupying in Washington Heights.

Friday in court the ‘hip-hop cop’ could not post his $10,000 bail, so he will remain in jail until formal charges are brought Tuesday.

Of the other 3 arrested, only one; a collage student, could post bail. The others remain in custody with Queens police officer Donald Medard.

The so called officer said that he is friends with rap artists like 50 Cent and Ja Rule and that he had been ruined by "hanging out with these rappers". It is hard to believe Ja Rule and 50 Cent hanging out together, maybe that is why neither was at Mr. Medard’s hearing or posted his bail.

The Queens officer is also being accused of calculating a scheme to use his ‘badge’ to rob drug dealers. Police have asked all their snitches to spread the word on the streets, that police officials are seeking information for drug dealers who may have been ‘jacked’ or ripped off by ‘hip-hop cop’ Medard.

The accurate list of charges will be made when the indictment is unsealed Tuesday.
