Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, author of "The Black List Campaign", announced today the addition of Russell Simmons to The ''Black'' List. Simmons is Chairman of Def Jam Records, and founder of the nonprofit Hip Hop Summit Action Network (HSAN)a liberal "get out the vote" organization.Other celebrities ''black'' listed include: Spike Lee, Sean P. Diddy Combs, Danny Glover, Whoopi Goldberg, Harry Belafonte, and Will Smith. The campaign seeks to expose Hollywoods most anti-American and destructive black celebrities.

Rev. Peterson said: "We added Russell Simmons to The ''Black'' List because he exploits black youth and pushes his leftist political agenda on black Americans. Simmons has built an empire by peddling sexually explicit rap music to black teens. He also lies to black voters about the Bush administration and promotes the destructive agenda of the liberal Democratic Party."

Simmons has lobbied to lighten the jail sentences of drug dealers and users, he supports reparations, and is opposed to racial profiling. Hes organized fundraisers for liberal Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY), and her accomplice, Senator Charles Schumer (D-NY).

Simmons despises President George W. Bush. Speaking at a press conference Feb. 28 he said: "We are threatened as Americans because of the way our president carries himself.  He's [Bush] the biggest threat in the world."

Rev. Peterson said: "Simmons is scamming black people. We want to expose his phony ''non-partisan'' group and his harmful merchandise."
