St. Louis Hip Hop rap artist Cornell Haynes Jr better known as NELLY is set to join forces with legendary rock artist Bruce Springsteen on his forthcoming album.

The Grammy Award winning hip hop star has approached The Boss about making a record together - and the veteran singer reportedly is more than pleased to oblige.

Due to scheduling difficulties it was impossible to get the song recorded in time for Nelly's latest LP Brass Knuckles - which will be released in July (08) but the hip-hop star is determined to make the collaboration with Bruce Springsteen happen later this year (08), and possibly feature the track on a special edition of the album.

The St. Louis hip hop star says, "We still might get a chance to get it off. We''re saving it. We might repackage it for the holidays." Nelly's new record already features collaborations with artists including a few hip hop super stars such as Fergie, Akon, LL Cool J., and Snoop Dogg.
