Austin, Texas born Multi-platinum selling recording artist Ciara, aka - Ciara Princess Harris who now claims Atlanta, Georgia as ‘home, will headline the 4th Annual VH1 Save The Music Hamptons Benefit Friday, July 28th at the home of Jaci and Morris L. Reid in East Hampton, New York. The event, which will also feature Sony Urban Music/Columbia Records artist Lyfe Jennings, is among the most anticipated of the Hamptons'' summer social calendar and is expected to raise more than $300,000.

Ciara burst onto the music scene in 2004 with her debut album "Goodies," which sold more than three million copies and produced chart- topping singles "1, 2 Step," "Goodies," and "Oh." The 18-year-old Atlanta beauty, who has collaborated with such hip-hop and rap artists as Ludacris, Missy Elliott and Bow Wow, is currently in the studio recording her sophomore album.

The VH1 Save The Music Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of education in America's public schools by restoring music education programs that have been cut due to budget reductions or to save programs at risk of elimination due to lack of instruments.

"Music education is often the first subject cut when lawmakers start wielding the budget ax," said Reid, managing director of Westin Rinehart, a Washington, D.C. communications firm. "That is why my wife and I host this event each summer to purchase instruments so that all children have the opportunity to learn about music and showcase their natural talents."

The evening's entertainment will also include singer/songwriter and acoustic guitarist Lyfe Jennings, whose starkly soulful platinum debut album "Lyfe 268-192" was released in 2004. His new album "The Phoenix" is scheduled to be released August 15.
