Well renown hip-hop producer DJ Scratch is stimulating the streets, clubs and radio with rap artist Busta Rhymes'' smash hit "New York Sh*t." The track, which also features Swizz Beatz on vocals, is a testament to the classic, passionate lifestyle of New York Hip-Hop. After holding down EPMD as their DJ in the Golden Era of Hip-Hop, and later taking on the role of legendary rap artist Jay-Z's tour DJ, Scratch exudes a creative energy that few can touch.

Bringing the edge back to the Northeast has become a priority for many hip-hop artists. "I feel New York Hip-Hop has been lacking the MC - the word play, song structure and the extended vocabulary," explains Scratch.
